Class rings: Do you think I would regret not getting my birthstone?

My birthday is in December and the stone is kind of tealish.
I like the purple though. It's been my fave color since like kindergarten.
My mom doesn't care what I get.
My boyfriend said I'm only young once, so get purple.
But when I'm 30, do you think I'll regret not getting my birthstone?

i just got my class ring, and i didn't get my birth stone. I actually got yours...:) anyways you should go with the purple. The way i figured it was that i will always know my birthstone. It's much better to go with a color that you really like, because you can look back and go "hey that was my favorite color in high school" also it might bring back memories of high school
you should go with whatever color you want.

i think you should get your birthstone but if purple has a more significant meaning to you then you wont regret it, plus if its your favorite color then you’ll probably wear it more! :P

just get the Purple one then for Christmas ask for the other one so then you will have both

No, your class ring doesn’t have to be your birthstone. People just choose to get it because it’s more personal to them. But it’s your ring so you should get whatever you want to.:-)

I didn’t get my birthstone, because mine is a diamond (April), which is great because I can use that excuse when buying a diamond ring. Haha.. kidding. (: Except, my class ring was really unique and different, and it had a lot of little diamonds already, so I wanted a color instead of my diamond birthstone so that my ring would have a little bit of color. I got baby blue.

I say get whatever color you want. A lot of people get one of their school colors instead of their birthstone. I think you can get whatever you want. (:
